Michelle Zacks honed her eye for design through 15 years in the fashion industry, building highly regarded clothing brands Spring&Clifton and Holy Tee, as well as collaboration collections with Urban Outfitters and the Reformation.

When fellow clothing designer Lyndsey Butler of VEDA came to Michelle for help developing a concept for the interior of her flagship store in SoHo, Michelle found herself in a new and exciting realm of creative direction.

The fortuitous collaboration launched a new career path for Michelle, inspiring her to launch interior design & prop styling company,             S P A C E D O U T.

Michelle regards S P A C E D O U T as a platform to explore & work within all kinds of space: Interiors, exteriors, the space within, and our magical world at large. Her design philosophy is firmly rooted in the idea of "beautiful living," where great attention is paid to small details and the aesthetic is creative, soulful and authentic.

Michelle has contributed decor work to various commercial and residential design projects. She previously worked as a design associate at esteemed interior design firm Rawlins Calderone, as well as for prop stylist Kim Ficaro.

Michelle was born and raised in California and currently resides in New York, two places she credits with greatly influencing her design aesthetic.
